Kia ora koutou

In October 2020, PNZ Board members including Peter Garelja, Robyn Cotton, and Janice Grigg complete their current two-year term as a Trustee of The Parkinson's New Zealand Charitable Trust.

Accordingly, the Trust is seeking nominations from members to let their name stand for election to the Board of Trustees for 2020/21. Members in good standing, motivated to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of the Trust are invited to stand for election to the Board. All three of the retiring Trustees are eligible for re-election and are also invited to seek the nomination.

Trustees are expected to serve a full two-year term and are permitted to seek re-election for a further two terms up to a maximum of three consecutive 2-year terms. We are particularly interested in people with experience in some of the following: financial management, marketing, strategic planning, advocacy and lobbying, and/or a health professional background.

Nominations must be supported by the members' regional Action Group and will close at 5:00 pm, Thursday, August 6, 2020. After this time, no further nominations will be accepted.
