Seminar - Wednesday 14 September 2011. 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. South Wellington Masonic Hall, 383 Ohiro Road, Brooklyn, Welllington.

Speakers:   Dr Nisar Contractor (Consultant Psychiatrist) -  topic - Non motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease

                   Dr Kate Scott (Geriatrician) - topic - Parkinson's disease and the role of Geriatricians

Lunch will be provided and is included in the cost of the seminar. Health Professionals are also invited. Please contact either the Field Officers or the Co-ordinator for details and costs.

Lower Hutt

Support Group - Monday 26 September at 10am.  Knox Presbyterian Church, 574 High Street, Lower Hutt.  Meera Isaac from Elder Family Care will be speaking on "Private Home Care Tailored Especially for you"

Carers' Support Group Meetings - All carers/caregivers very welcome. Te Awa Kairangi Building, 47 Laings Road (corner of Myrtle Street) Lower Hutt.  There is free parking in Laings Road for early birds, otherwise Council carpark across the road by the fountain.  10am - 11.30am.  Cost $3.

Exercise Classes- these are held on Fridays between 11 - 12 a.m. at the YMCA, Somme Road,Trentham, Upper Hutt during school terms.  Contact Andrea for further details.

Wellington Central

Exercise Classes - Wednesday 12 - 1pm.  St John Hall, Karori Road, Karori.  All welcome. Classes held during school terms.  Cost $30.00 per 10 week term.
