Committee Meetings: Wednesday 19th October / Wednesday 16th November @ 5.45pm
Support Meetings: The final Support Meeting for 2011 will be held at 2pm on Wednesday the 26th of October at the Community Leisure Centre, 569 Ferguson Street. Our Field Officer Dianne Ackerman will be speaking on "Symptoms of Parkinson's Disease".
Physiotherapy Exercise Classes: These classes are currently paid for by the Division and are for Members only. Classes are held from 12.15 - 1.00 pm on Thursdays at the PN Hospital pool during the school term (not in school holidays). The final class for this year will be on Thursday the15th of December. For more information please contact the office or our Field Officer, Dianne.
PARKINSON'S AWARENESS WEEK 1- 7 November. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise the awareness of Parkinson's in the Manawatu Region. Donation boxes will be available in Chemists around the city and we are in need of some volunteers on a roster to help collect outside a few venues. This year we are producing a Manawatu Regional Calender as a fundraiser - more on that to come!
CHRISTMAS DINNER Will be held on Saturday the 10th of December at Olive Tree Village Community Hall. The doors will be open at 11.00am with entertainment by the Milson Women's Institute Choir from 11.30am, luncheon will be served at 12.30pm. Cost is $15 for a Member and $18.50 for a non-Member payment is at the door, but please phone Betty on 357 4423 if you are attending as we need to know numbers for catering purposes.
