Volunteer to Help People with Parkinson's

Parkinson's New Zealand depends on volunteers to continue its work.

If you are able to help, please contact us.

It is not necessary to make a large commitment of time. We can provide training if required.

Areas where your voluntary assistance would be most appreciated are:
  • Fund raising
  • General office work
  • Photocopying and distributing the newsletter
  • Desk-top publishing
  • Researching medical journals
  • Writing newsletter articles
  • Answering the telephone
  • Leading a Support Group
  • Visiting house-bound people with Parkinson's and carers
  • Visiting patients in hospital
  • Writing letters for those who can't
  • General occasional odd jobs
